Objectives are how we will measure the success of the marketing plan once it is implemented
Strategies address how objectives are to be achieved
Tactics are the specific actions, details, and activities that must occur in order for the strategy to succeed and the objective to be met
Increase the number of student-athletes participating in wellness workshop/ safespace workshops by 35% by the end of 2025 spring semester
-
I would work with coaches, mentors, therapists, meditation specialist, yoga instructors, etc. Maybe twice out of each month to come and just offer their services to student athletes. I have a good feeling this would be highly appreciated just to get the student athletes out fo their daily rigorous mindset and relax by doing something they maybe have never been open to doing.
-
Tactic 1: workshops for athletes to get them out of their comfort zone and experience new activities
-
Tactic 2: workshops for athletes to get them out of their comfort zone and experience new activities
Increase the number of student- athletes participating in mental health awareness programs by potentially 20% by the end of spring 2025
-
not only does this get student athletes to be involved on campus but this is a great way to spread awareness of mental health in athletics. This is not something that i would press to make a super often thing. If we were to hold a mental health event on campus once a semester and try to get a majority of student athletes to attend, this could be very beneficial
-
Tactic 1: I honestly believe partnering with my director of athletics to have a public speaker from around the city whether it be notable alumni, sports psycholigists, or a professional athlete. I believe this will be very inspirational as well as educational
-
Tactic 2: integrate student athletes led discussions based on mental health (vulnerable storytime circle)

Offer student athletes personlized nutrition consultations
-
We have been informed that we have a nutritionist on campus for student athletes but I believe if we were to have them be a bit more hands on and around us, I 100% believe we would get much more out of it. I have yet to even meet the nutritionist simply because we havent really had them involved an hands on with us athletes.
-
Tactic 1 : have a nutritionist on site in a tangible area to where they’re easily accessible
-
tactic 2:I would have the nutritionist have meetings with athletes bi monthly

Objectives + Strategies + Tactics
Feel free to use this text section for the discussion and the table below to display your objectives, strategies, and tactics.
I have a good feeling with the objectives i've chosen + strategies + tactics will create a very open environment for student athletes to be able to speak on whatever they may be going through whether it be on or off the field/court. I believe being vulnerable with your team is the best way to really mesh as a group and build team bonding to secure a solid foundation within the group.
